We collect tasty free-range eggs from their homely pastures by hand daily, supplying to local farm shops. Feel free to join us in feeding our hens and collecting their eggs when you visit Haaskraal Guest House. |
Where the Nguni roamHaaskraal Farm is proud of its thoroughbred registered Nguni herd - each one different in color and pattern, so beautiful. They free-range on the farm and enjoy roaming around, you never know where they pop up next. We have even found them in the Guest House rose garden!
We were Blessed with so many new Nguni calves over the past two years - all named after chocolates, beverages and deserts. You are welcome to guess their names. We are excited to see a few more colorful arrivals every month! |

Pure Cape Winelands Honey For the best Free-Range eggs from our happy roaming Portch Koekoek chickens, be sure to try our farmfresh seasonal produce when visiting our Haaskraal Guest House. You can even collect your own eggs for breakfast when staying over as guest, with the first dozen free!
Subject to availability, our honey is 100% natural and pure, hand harvested personally by the Haaskraal farmowner with much care taken to ensure the bees are always well looked after. Depending on the season, the honey will be flavoured with tastes of either Canola, Wild Cape Flower, Fynbos, Bluegum or seasonal fruit-tree and almond blossoms. |
